Hello again lovelies! I have some updates as per my hair care (it’s growth and more). As you recall I cut my hair all off once again back in Nov 2011, so now it’s been 4 months!! Yipee!!!

I’m really excited to see it grow month after month. I now can twist my hair and I’m excited!! I plan to install a few twists today/tonight. N-T-ways, I wanted to check in on the challenge {see the challenge file here}. I have been keeping fairly consistent in my regimen that I posted on my youtube channel as well as on the blog. I have come to a few conclusions about my hair, Ms. Sassy-Belle:

  1. She desperately needs moisture
  2. She requires being rested upon satin or preferably silk pillowcases
  3. Sassy Belle likes some weekly spa attention in the form of a deep conditioning
  4. Sassy is very sassy! If she doesn’t like it, she snaps!

Over the course of last month, I came to grips that my hair wants moisture everyday! This girl gets greedy! She wants moisture all the time and she’s not afraid to say it. Sleeping is not to be rough, because she likes the feel of the smooth silk/satin caressing her, and if I skip out on giving her a spa treatment, she surely retaliates with fumes and furry!! The next 3 months, for the challenge I plan to do the following:

  1. Deep treat consistently
  2. Wear my little TWA in more twists and or braids
  3. Moisturize daily, twice if needed
  4. Sleep solely on satin/silk and tie the hair with the same materials
  5. Be creative with it! I still want to try yarn braids
  6. Update more with pictures and possible videos
  7. Keep my regimen simple still

My goals this time around are very simple and very clear!

  • Healthy HAIR
  • Full BSL length
  • More creative Styles
  • Simple Regimen
  • NO major breakage or shedding (eliminate stress)

I’m really happy I decided to start over on my hair journey, because now I can really do right by my hair. I’ve learned so much in the past 3 years and now I get to really exercise them. Have you ever had to start over? Or fix an issue with your hair? As well, how’s the challenge going for everyone??

share with me: what’s your hair goals and how are they coming along?

~Hope you enjoyed
